COUCUG is run by an independent group of technologists who focus on Microsoft Unified Communications products and solutions.  Each month, COUCUG will host a meeting in the Denver area which is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Microsoft Lync Server and related unified communications topics.  The topics for each meeting will be technical and architectural in nature designed for IT administrators, consultants, and management that want to learn more about Microsoft Unified Communications and do some networking at the same time.

Hope everyone had a great summer! The Colorado UC User Group is ready to get going for the fall with some great sessions.

First up is September! September is Hunger Awareness Month and the COUCUG has made this meeting our annual food drive. It's a great way for our group to contribute to our community. Last year we brought in over 150lbs of food!

Just like in years past, Plantronics is sponsoring the meeting and will be doing a give away of headsets. The catch is, that to be eligible for a headset, you need to bring a bag food for the food drive!

Did you see that Microsoft released the Skype Operations Framework? Are you wondering what it is? Or how to use it to deploy Skype for Business in your organization? We'll dive into it and discuss the components of the Skype Operations Framework.

We will also take some time to update everyone on the latest in the UCOMS world. With 3 months since our last meeting, there have been a lot of things going on and we'll make sure you are in the know!

If you aren't registered with our Meetup Group, please do so. We use the Meetup group to send out meeting notices and other COUCUG info. You can also follow us on Twitter and get the latest news from the COUCUG. You can also email us at
