First, we hope everyone is staying safe, sane, and healthy while so many of us are under the “stay at home” order. We here at the COUCUG have been busy trying to figure out how to properly bring this event to life as a virtual event. We are going to try it this month as a Teams meeting. We are going to keep things a bit informal (but have we ever been formal?) and just have a single topic plus the UCOMs update. We will try to create a time where people can ask questions and just converse. We believe in the power of community and staying connected so we want to provide a space for that.
Our topic will be around securing Microsoft Teams. With the requirement for people to work from home and more virtual meetings (not just in business but personal and in our schools), it’s important to make sure the environment is secure. We’ll cover things like Guest Access, External Access, and policy management.
